Weddings

The couple that seeks the complete comprehensive package, we coordinate vendors, venue, decor, flowers, budget development, task checklists, rental orders, guest accommodations, etiquette advisement, contract negotiation, invitations, rehearsal dinner planning, and much more. Events

We understand the need to impress. In fact, it’s part of our DNA. Whether it’s a product launch, year-end function or gala event or intimate celebration...we can help you plan and coordinate your event. Sjiek Event Planning will facilitate every aspect in detail and ensure the event runs according to plan.

Styling

We will discuss your vision, give floral, furniture and lighting quotes that meets your style and budget.

Our décor and styling package also includes our amazing set-up team to set-up your special day and make sure everything looks amazing.

Private Parties

STAFFING

Waiters

Our trained waiters are neatly dressed, articulate, friendly, service orientated and extensively trained. Our waiting staff work efficiently and carefully, making sure your guests are properly looked after and your event runs smoothly. We recommend 1 waiter for every 10 guests.

Barmen

Our barmen are fully trained to cater to their needs. We pride ourselves in supplying exceptional service to all of our clients. They can operate any bar – cash bar, tab and open bar. We recommend 1 barmen for every 25 guests.

Supervisor

We will send a Supervisor to all events where more than 4 of our staff members are working. His/ her duties will be to make sure the group arrives at the venue on time and that the shift runs smoothly. He will be the liaison between the venue manager/ chef and the client.He/she will report back to us after the function.

Catering

We will create a menu to suit your event concept, taste and budget. We will also discuss the
cooking facilities and equipment at the venue, as we can arrange any additional hiring.
Fresh, seasonal produce – fruit, vegetables and herbs – forms the heart of any dish. Our culinary style leans towards simplicity. Expect spontaneous yet creatively styled food for your
event.

Stationery

Wedding stationery ties together your chic (sjiek) theme. Sjiek Events design websites, save the dates, invitations, menus, seating charts, welcome brochures, wine labels, signage and any other designed goodies you can think of. Please contact to discuss your needs.

Favors/Gifts

Your wedding favors are a special way to give back to your guests on your wedding day. They can be anything from little take-home tokens of appreciation to treats that can be enjoyed on the spot. From decorative to practical and modest to elaborate; the choice is up to you!
